I am a licensed clinical psychologist who provides mental health services to adolescents, adults (individuals and couples) in San Francisco. I have over 10 years of extensive training and experience working

with diverse populations who have experienced challenges with regard to emotional, behavioral and interpersonal difficulties.

I graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Education. I taught 6-9th grade mathematics for six years in public and private schools. During that time I also earned my Master's of Education in Human Development at the University of Maryland - College Park, which piqued my interest in psychology. I went on to earn my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. My clinical training included work at non-profit community agencies, inner-city elementary schools, Mills College, and an American Psychological Association-accredited predoctoral internship at American University's Counseling and Psychological Services in Washington, DC.

Since then, I have worked as a staff psychologist at George Washington University, San Jose State University, and UC-Berkeley where I offered psychotherapy and crisis intervention to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as consultation to parents, faculty/staff, and other providers in the community. Lastly, I have served on training committees and I provide supervision and mentoring to psychology graduate students.
